2008 Prius – Very well made. The fit was exactly tailored to meet the connection, a comfortable fit. The disassembly instructions to get to the connections on the main-battery are excellent.
Cleaning the Fan is easy: take the case apart for better access to dirt. Nothing falls out, nothing weird just a shroud.
cut the foam with a razor, at the seam where the case separates for cleaning – keeps you from destroying the foam gasket.
(note: my cooling fan, the white plastic one mounted on the right rear cooling panel, did not spin freely. During the first reassembly ‘to test the charger before putting everything back together’ the fan appeared to operate correctly. I presume the spinning question was due to the fan motor being a Stepper Motor rather than a common fan motor. )
